The world's first indoor light positioning technology settled in Shenzhen National Technology Transfer Southern Center

Recently, the world's first technology to achieve precise indoor positioning - LED white light communication technology (U-beacon system) has officially settled in the National Technology Transfer Southern Center in Shenzhen and opened its display platform to the outside world.
At the unveiling ceremony of the National Technology Transfer Southern Center held on November 25, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Cao Jianlin and Shenzhen Mayor Xu Qin and other leaders personally unveiled the Southern Center technology transfer public service platform. The LED white light communication technology independently developed by Huace Optical Communication Technology Co., Ltd. ( The U-beacon system) was also settled and publicly displayed, and even shined in the on-site display!

At the display site, an indoor location map of the National Technology Transfer Southern Center appeared on the big screen. Dozens of blue dots (LED lighting) were distributed in an orderly manner on the map. The on-site demonstrator held a mobile phone and clicked on the "U-beacon display software" to enter the location map of the Southern Center. As the people moved around, they could clearly see the red dots displaying the location on the large screen moving in real time.

On-site Huace Optical Communications technicians told reporters that if two or more people use the application software at the same time, they can see the real-time location and movement trajectory of the people in the room. For example, the blue line is the movement trajectory of someone showing the scene. It is more like a game scene, and multi-party online real-time conversations can be chatted.

"In fact, this technology has many functions, such as location-based message push, check-in, social networking, and even real-person online scene games. This technology is currently mainly used for O2O based on indoor location. Think about it if a shopping mall turned into a game arcade. How interesting it would be." The technician said.
It is understood that indoor lighting positioning technology integrates the world's most advanced white light LED technology and powerful UBeacon system. Through the perfect combination of hardware and software, it uses high-speed light and dark flashing signals invisible to the naked eye emitted by LED lights to transmit information. Its positioning accuracy reaches 1 meter, which fundamentally solves the world-wide problem of precise positioning in underground working lanes, hospitals, exhibition halls, supermarkets and other indoor spaces.
According to the relevant person in charge of Huace Optical Communication Technology Co., Ltd., the mobile application software "Yiguang" developed based on this technology was officially launched in the Luqiao Commodity Market in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province in June this year, and uses LED lamps indoors to achieve functions such as positioning, navigation, three-dimensional real-life maps, and online and offline interactions. The commercial transformation of this technology created China's first indoor lighting positioning project, which promoted optical communication research out of the laboratory and kicked off the practical application of optical communication.
Currently, Huace Optical Communication Technology Co., Ltd. is popularizing the cooperative promotion of commercial projects in first- and second-tier cities across the country, and plans to build the "Yiguang" application and service platform into the most well-known and influential 020 service platform nationwide within three years.
